How to Update Your Credit Card in the Web App

Update or change your credit card details in the web version of Penny.

Have a brand new credit card or would like to update your account with a business card instead of your personal one? No problem! We'll show you a step-by-step guide on how to update your payment details directly in your Penny account.


Before you start, you'll need to meet the 2️⃣ following criteria:

  1. You signed up for the Penny subscription using your account on the web version.

  2. You have to be using a computer 💻 (not a mobile device like an iPad or mobile phone) to access your Account Settings > Billing options.

⚠️ If you signed up via Apple Store or Google Play Store, this method will not work to update your credit card. You will need to go to the Apple Store or Google Play Store to change your payment method. 💳

🌶️ Hot Tip 🌶️ If you cannot remember how you signed up for the subscription, you can review your Billing section on either the website or mobile app to confirm where you signed up! For example, if you see "Subscription via Penny" this means you signed up directly with Penny on the website!


How to Update Your Credit Card

You can CLICK HERE 👈 for quick access to your Billing page to update your card. Please make sure you are logged into Penny via a laptop or desktop when you click the link.

You can also:

1 - Login to your Penny web version

2 - Select your profile avatar at the top right of the screen

3 - Select "Billing" in the menu.

4 - In the Billing menu - navigate to "Payment type" and select the "Edit" button

5 - A text box will pop up to enter the new credit card details

6 - Select "Save"
